A mixture of Croatian and English memories with a handmade paper button.

Perfect little scrappy wallet for holding old tickets, photos, flower cards and little notes we kept from loved ones that are no longer with us.

Grateful for the message and even more grateful to know I’m not the only one who mislays bits of paper I was holding 10 minutes ago 😅

Happy Mothers Day 💐

To all the wonderful mums out there, the soon to be mums, the mums who have lost, the mums battling infertility and the mums who are finding the balance through the highs and lows of the relationships. Them “teen years” taught us patience 🤭

On a personal level… to the mums who have played the part of mum and dad for years, stuck in survival mode and never quite knowing if you’re getting things right… a huge hug. You’re achieving in every little step forward. keep blooming.

Today’s the day to nurture you and do something for yourself 💐🥰 for me it’s a scrapbooking day to fire up the creativity and a much needed pup walk in the sun ☺️

A bit of fun for today…. The Ugly Bug

For the Ladies… men you may want to wander off now or you may want to learn something …

A lot of us ladies are struggling with the symptoms of the menopause, there’s so many!! The list is endless and it makes us feel a little bit less than we were before. Please remember it’s not your fault. Those dang hormones give us a rough ride. We gain labels of crazy, unbalanced and unhinged. It feels so heavy and very unfair.

It’s a ridiculous list to overcome. That flippin womb thingy has a lot to answer for 🤨

Anyway… to lift the mood I remembered some Voodoo Schmoodoo dolls I made years ago and also remembered being told about the Dammit Dolls from scrubber johnnies stencils….
so this is an Ugly Bug 🤣

Yes feels like she’s ugly and now she’s been stitched back together from previous chapters she feels very different, definitely not cute but very raw and real. Definitely not a velveteen rabbit, rabbits are cute ☺️

Some days we wake up bright and breezy and other days we feel like there’s a monster wanting to tear the place up. We make a joke of it saying “Today I chose violence” but we don’t want to be raging, we really don’t want those crappy bits.

So if you need to let off steam you can launch this. Stamp on its head if you need to 🤣 it’s not ladylike but it takes away those pent up feelings enabling us to be the better version of us again.

Failing that I’m only a message away, you can always talk there’s no judgement just a safe space to vent 🫂 I have the pattern if you want to make one yourself. You can use any old fabric you find and the stabby part of stitching helps 🤭

Ava did the work for me today and launched it down the stairs… she definitely becoming my partner in small crimes 🤣
