Carol Sheppard is a poet and playwright who moved to the Forest of Dean nearly thirty years ago and has no intention of leaving. The beautiful forest and its inhabitants inspire much of her writing.

Carol has had five plays professionally produced as well as poetry published in various journals and anthologies. She also writes a weekly column in The Citizen newspaper and is an active member of Dean Writers, Gloucestershire Poetry Society and runs the successful playwriting group Severn Playwrights. Made of Glass is her debut poetry collection published by Red Balcony Press.
