Our cuttings bench is always busy this is the last batch from last week they now are callused over and starting to grow roots starting the journey though our nursery from cutting to potted plant.
I never get to old to strike cuttings still have the wow factor how things can grow given the right conditions.
In other news everything is twice the work in this heat wave,it 28-48 in those tunnels daily so lots of split shifts.

We have just finished cleaning up from our Master grower display at Badminton in Gloucester, last week we are now set up on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk for our next The RHS show we have around 100 varieties of tasty peat and pesticide free herbs available the scent on our stand is amazing.

Today we kicked off building our display for the The RHS Master Grower award at the brand new flower show in Badminton — and we’re absolutely thrilled to have been selected.
It feels wonderful to celebrate everything we’ve achieved over the past 11 years growing the Kitchen Garden Plant Centre, especially with four RHS Chelsea Gold medals under our belt.
The RHS has been incredibly supportive, opening doors for us to connect with so many talented people across the horticultural world — from fellow nursery owners to landscapers. Those shows, seminars, and gardens have led to some truly special opportunities over the years.
Our nursery is run by Niamh and myself , together with a brilliant small team. We grow thousands of herbs from seed and cuttings every year, and the whole operation just keeps expanding. We’ve always worked pesticide- and weedkiller-free, using peat-free compost because sustainability and healthy food matters deeply to us.
We have a very busy mail order website we select our finest herbs hand-wrap and send out hundreds of herb parcels four days a week, each one packed with care in our own bespoke sustainable packaging and posted with love to customers all over the country.
