Happy Easter to all my customers who celebrate. I would also like to wish a happy Ramadan and Passover to those that celebrate those holidays too.
The timing of Easter, Passover, and Ramadan is based on different calendars and lunar cycles, so their occurrence at the same time is rare and unpredictable. The Jewish calendar is based on the lunar cycle, while the Christian calendar is based on the solar cycle. As a result, the dates of Passover and Easter vary each year. Ramadan is also based on the lunar calendar, and its timing shifts approximately 11 days earlier each year.
Easter and Passover fall on the same weekend more often than not, but the two only coincide with the Islamic holy month of Ramadan about once every 30 years.
The coincidence of these three holidays happening at the same time is a chance for people of different faiths to come together and learn from each other. It’s an opportunity to celebrate our shared values of hope, renewal, and compassion, and to build bridges of understanding and respect
