Im an artist/illustrator based in Newcastle upon Tyne, north east England, United Kingdom. Since childhood Ive maintained an interest in natural history, this forming the backbone of much of my artwork. I enjoy working in a variety of styles and mediums including watercolour, acrylic and currently pen and ink. Ive been trying to develop a pen and ink style which crosses over into silhouette, by cr

eating various fields of depth through line and denser areas of black. Iam greatly inspired by the work of Aubrey Beardsley and Jan Pienkowski both excellent exponents of the black and white genre. Ultimatley Id like to attempt to create a unique visual language through compositions which create a harmony between positive and negative space.
