All good things must come to an end!

Today I am saying goodbye to my little business that I have ran here in Edinburgh for over 3 years and a truly life changing 4 years at

Looking forward to a completely new challenge and getting to be on the fitness consumer side and being the fittest person working a 9-5 in an office.

There may still be the occasional update on here as there are likely some crazy fitness endeavors to still be achieved.

Thank you very much to every single client over the years and anybody who supported me on this journey. Much love ❤️❤️

If you're someone who trains multiple times a week you need to at the very least have a nutrition strategy.

It doesn't have to be crazy or super strict but just something that can be consistent.

100km of pure mind over matter.

I honestly can’t describe the lows I hit out there, but every single one of them was worth it for the highs. Between 71km and 90km I felt like I was possessed — I’ve never been so locked in, so focused, and I don’t think anything will ever touch that feeling again.

I’m definitely paying the price now and probably will for at least a few weeks. I am broken and both knees feel like they’ve been shot, swollen ankles and barely able to walk to the bathroom— but the memories from that run, and the graft I put into it, will stay with me forever.

The support I’ve had in the lead up and on the day itself has been unreal. Way too many people to thank individually, but I have to mention the crew on the day who went above and beyond who were with me from 4am in Berwick and did a 15+ hour shift in the car, and then n who dragged me through a combined 48km. I owe you all big time.

I also need to say a massive thank you to everyone at — the community there has been unbelievable, and my colleagues have backed me every step of the way. That support made such a difference, probably more than you realise.

£5k target for absolutely smashed and I couldn’t be prouder 🧡

Good and quick 6 week training block on the lead up to this but minerals weren't quite there in the legs for the last 1k. We move. Still almost a 3 minute PB since my last proper attempt 10 months ago so 0 complaints

Excited to start preparing for something entirely different coming up next.

As we head into the new year,

The single biggest mistake I see is people going from no training or just one session a week to suddenly jumping into 5-6 sessions weekly.

The same applies when switching from standard gym workouts to a more 'hybrid' training style.

There's is a time and place for redlining, but it shouldn’t be five sessions a week

In my opinion, three full-body sessions a week is much more sustainable.

Training three times a week consistently over the year will take you much further than doing six sessions a week for three months and then burning out.

Consistency and sustainability is always key.

Here’s an example program I’ve designed for one of my online clients transitioning to a new training style.

This plan blends strength, hypertrophy, conditioning, and a bit of running intervals.

As always, this program will follow a progressive structure over the next four weeks to ensure steady improvement.

If you are struggling for structure give it a try, or if you need some help or are looking for something a more personalised give me a message or follow the link in my bio.

A tough outing.

But not bad hitting a PB after 2 big training days already this week on a pretty difficult course while sitting at 95 kegs. 🤣

Hopefully can bring this down by the end of the year before HYROX Valencia 🇪🇸 with intervals being a big focus in the coming months.
