🎤 SATURDAY NIGHTS 🎤

A bit late posting this one… but I’m only human and apparently today is “catch up on content” day 🤣

Last Saturday, and absolutely smashed it. The atmosphere was unreal, the place was buzzing, and it was great to see so many new faces through the doors supporting live music at The Market Place! That’s exactly what these nights are all about 🙌

This Saturday for the bank holiday weekend we’ve got playing from 8–10pm 🎶

It’s meant to be an absolute scorcher, so grab your drinks deals at the bar, enjoy the sunshine and come spend your Saturday night with us 🍷🍹☀️

🎤A BIG SHOUT OUT 🎤 to Malachi who had never been on the coffee machine up until a few weeks ago!

A bit of context behind the post:

Mal rarely went on the coffee machine, he kept to serving the customers. We changed our coffee, had staff training from and from there he knew we wanted to improve his barista skills!

He always strives to do better and achieve new goals, so he put himself out there and asked to be put in coffee duty to get better at the latte art.

Proud moment to him and my staff when he posted this picture in the staff group chat! He showed off his new and improved skills and the team backed him and uplifted him! That’s what a team is about right?! This made me very happy with the current team we have right now! They support each other and work together so well!

This is exactly why investing in our team matters. Confidence grows, skills improve, and everyone pushes each other to be better every single day. Proud of you Mal 👏☕️ Here’s to more latte art, more learning and a team that genuinely has each other’s backs ❤️

HOT ITALIAN CRUMPETS 🇮🇹🔥

It’s as good as it looks! 

Toasted crumpets stacked with Italian seasoned pork patties, rich cheese sauce, a fried egg and our spicy nduja pesto, finished with crispy onions and fresh chives for the perfect crunch. 🤌🏻

It’s giving full brunch comfort with a little kick. Crispy, saucy, messy in the best way possible. 👀

What’s your fave dish at The Market Place at the moment? 👀🍴

I absolutely LOVE being back at work. Honestly just slid straight back into it 🫶 I want to hear your feedback because obviously I’m biased and want your input!

The new menu is going strong, the new coffee has gone down a treat, but we can’t forget the all time faves that will never leave the menu 👏 The OGs are still hitting every single time.

The team is on point, I’m catching up with all the regulars again, and there’s so many exciting things happening behind the scenes already.

In the 2 months since being back we’ve:
✨ launched the new menu
✨ brought back Saturday evenings with live music
✨ planned more events & private hires
✨ created a great community vibe with the run club
✨ upgraded the kitchen

✨ new blinds to keep the place from feeling like a greenhouse
✨ and honestly… the list keeps growing

It feels really special seeing The Market Place grow while still keeping that same cosy community feel 💛 it’s been almost 8 years trading and this is definitely our best year yet!
