🚨 Unfortunately, we’ve had another shoplifting incident at Morecambe Bay Discount Store today.
The woman pictured came into the shop to distract our member of staff while appearing to shop. She then said she had left her wallet and left the items behind.
While this was happening, the man in the blue shorts outside took around £60 worth of goods from our display outside the shop and walked off without coming inside to pay.
Sadly, we’ve seen a rise in incidents like this over the last couple of months. As a small local business, these losses really do add up and it’s really disappointing to see this happening more often.
We’re sharing this to make other local businesses aware and hopefully prevent the same thing happening elsewhere.
If the couple in the video are reading this, the incident has been reported to the police and you are no longer welcome in our store.
