Poppins Children's Community Project and The Community Bookshop - Minehead will be closed from Saturday 20th December (closing at 4pm) and will be back open on Tuesday 6th January.

🎄We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our staff, volunteers, customers, donators and supporters a very merry festive time and happy new year. 🎄

This morning we were met by some bags of donations that had been left out in the rain.
We are always happy for people to leave donations in the doorway as we know it's not always easy to come down during shop opening hours.
However, if you are going to leave donations, please please put them under the porch where they can't get damaged by rain. I know that these items were left with good intentions and we are always so grateful for the donations we receive, it's just so sad to see good items get water damaged and this is happening fairly regularly, especially as the weather is getting wetter.

Please also remember that we can't take the following:
Car seats
Furniture
Electrical items.
We also currently can not take travel cots and prams.
