" Hi all, back from a social on Cromwell lake, great place, we had a lake exclusive but as I arrived late I got Hobsons choice on the swim. The lake shelves deeply to one end the fish were all in the shallower end...I had 18ft of water in front of me. Some great fish came out to 43lb, I managed this 22lb fish on the last night from the margin I'd been feeding Shrimp and Pepper but all the fish were coming out to white pop-ups, I found some long forgotten white pop-ups in the bottom of my tackle bag."

"After a quiet first evening, I get a 5am wake up alarm! As i run out i see my right Bobbin Moving up and down. I decide to hit it and hooked into what felt like a Bream. Untill it realised it was hooked!

Run after run, multiple attempts at going towards a reed bed and countless rolls! Eventually we got her in!
My first carp on a zig, one i tied myself too! So thats gave me some confidence in tying them 👌

21lb Common, the biggest carp i have caught from this particular lake so ill take that! Caught on a Mamba White Pop-Up with a hint of Mamba Bait Syrup!"
