The Elephant Hawk Moth is one of the most beautiful native species. It's large 'eyed' caterpillars nibbling on the Fuchsia in your garden or on Willowherb. This female Moth hatched from a caterpillar that was in the Herb Garden that I 'finished off' at home, overwintered the Pupae in the fridge.... and the adult hatched this week.
