For the Record

For the Record FTR is a website that gives unsigned artists the chance to get their music onto vinyl with the help Welcome to For the Record! It's really simple to do!

FTR is currently a concept created by four media production students at Teesside University. We have currently made the concept and are working on the facts and figures, BUT, if we can get enough interest we are planning on pitching to investors to make this idea into reality! For the Record is a website that allows unsigned artists to get discovered and get their music pressed on vinyl with the h

elp of vinyl collectors and music lovers. For the bands:
- Create a free profile
- Post a short description, video and any pictures
- Upload your albums and singles with samples for each song
- Sit back and relax until you raise enough money
- Get your music pressed! For the music lovers:
- Create a free profile
- Post a description about yourself, a profile picture and your music preferences
- Search through different categories of music
- Find your new favourite band
- Donate money towards getting your favourite albums pressed onto vinyl!
- The more money you spend, the better rewards you'll get (e.g. the vinyl, limited edition prints etc.) Feel free to send any suggestions or feedback through to the admin members too! We'd love to get it up and running and hopefully you will too!
