🧸🤎 A lovely returning customer order…

Louise first ordered from me back in 2019, when I made her a Memory Bear from a special Burberry skirt, so it was lovely to welcome her back again. 🥰

For this order, Louise brought me a beautiful knitted jumper to create a Regular Jointed Memory Bear, along with some of the Burberry skirt fabric that had been returned to her from her original order.

She asked if I could use the skirt again to create three Hanging Memory Hearts and a matching Key Fob — such a lovely way to make use of those precious remaining pieces. ❤️

I absolutely love how this order turned out, especially the bear made from the knitted jumper. 🧸✨

Thank you so much, Louise, for coming back to me all these years later and trusting me once again with your precious clothing. It really does mean so much. 💕

🌸 Two beautiful bears, one very special nightdress 🌸

These two Standard Memory Bears were lovingly made using a precious floral nightdress, creating a matching keepsake for each recipient to treasure. 💕

Each bear was personalised with a photo on one foot and the beautiful words on the other:

“These are the clothes I used to wear,
Hold me tight and feel me near.
All my love
Grandma Glad” ❤️

And receiving messages like these afterwards means so much to me:

💬 “Oh Stacey these are beautiful, thank you so much.”

Followed by…

💬 “Hi Stacey, I’ve just received the parcel, absolutely gorgeous thank you so much xx”

Turning one treasured item of clothing into keepsakes that can stay with family for years to come is such a special part of what I do. 🥰🧸💕

💗 Two very special Memory Highland Cows 💗

I’ve held off sharing these for a few weeks, as there’s a very special and sadly heartbreaking story behind them.

Back in late June, my friend Amanda messaged me after seeing a Facebook post from Steven, who was looking for someone to make two Highland Cow keepsakes for his wife Amy. Amanda is Amy’s best friend and, knowing I make keepsakes, she got in touch to see if I could help.

Amy wanted the cows made from her pyjamas for her children, as Highland Cows held a very special meaning for their family. 💗 Amanda explained a little about Amy’s illness and that sadly she didn’t have long left.

I’d never made a Highland Cow before, but after hearing about Amy I really wanted to see if I could help. I found a pattern I was happy with, made a sample cow and Steven then got in touch and placed an order for two. 🐮💕

He also asked if I could make a space inside each cow for a sound box, so I created a hidden pocket with a Velcro opening on the side of each one.

Less than two weeks later, both cows were finished. I sent Steven photos and I’m so pleased that Amy got to see them finished and loved them. 💕

Sadly, by the time they were collected, Amy had become very poorly and wasn’t able to see them in person. She passed away shortly afterwards. 🕊️

These two cows will always be incredibly special to me, as Amy and her family are the reason my Memory Highland Cows came to be.

Made from Amy’s own pyjamas, with her special words embroidered onto their feet, I hope they continue to bring her children lots of comfort and give them something precious from their Mammy that they can always keep close. 💗

Steven has since told me that the children love their Highland Cows and sleep with them every night, which means more to me than I can put into words. 🥹💗
