A quickie with some faves from yesterday

What a day ! The visit to the glass and ceramics department concluded with a hot glass pour into a beautiful (but sacrificial) vessel made by .asw just a few hours before.
The NGC is closing at the end of July, ‘cos, let’s face it “ballet dancers should retrain in cyber security” is the mantra of our times. Please come visit us before the end. Xx

What a weekend! Took me a day to recover from th hot that was ceramics fair, but back in the land of the living today. Obligatory pic of my acquisitions- one at the very start of the event, one at the very end, nice bookending karma I thought. Beaker by ;wanted one of these forever, and gorgeous little vessel by the equally gorgeous whose work smells as good as it looks! Thanks go to all of the Hepworth people, my neighbours and and everyone, potter or otherwise who put up with my chatter.
