Some days are harder than others in small business, especially when you work solo.

I was just thinking about calling it a day when this couple walked in and said, “Do you wanna play a game where we have to buy one thing each from this shop?”

And it immediately perked me right up. 😂

Firstly, I LOVE the idea of turning shopping into a little game, but also… buying something for each other just because? I was absolutely invested.

Then I spotted they’d both picked up the exact same thing and felt I had to intervene 😂

But the second gift was sooo cute… a little pair of ceramic pants saying “I fancy the pants off you” 🥹🥹

It was just such a wholesome little interaction, but it made a huge difference to my mood and genuinely uplifted me.

And then, as if the universe was having a little laugh with me, I happened to have a really good afternoon of sales too.

A little reminder that this tiny shop of mine is worth it after all. 🥹

Sometimes you just need one lovely little moment to remind you why you started. 🫶🏻

After a couple of weeks of hard work planning and preparing the trail to create something to entertain the kids during the summer holidays, it really is so rewarding to see it appreciated so much it made it to print!

If you’re familiar with our workshops, you’ll know we’ve been running after school art sessions throughout our first year in business! 🎨

We’re so excited to be relaunching them for a new school year with ! ✨

Our weekly Art Club starts on Wednesday 9th Sept, with two sessions every Wednesday during term time:
🌈 Ages 6-9 | 4:30-5:30
🌸 Ages 10-12 | 5:30-6:30

We’re taking bookings now for next term, and we’d love to welcome your little artists along!

Wow… today has been incredible!! 🥹

Thank you so much for celebrating one year of Dabble & Mooch with me!! It was busy from the moment I opened the doors this morning and it didn’t really stop all day.

Thank you so much to everyone who bought me cards and gifts - that was so unbelievably kind. 🥹 And a special shout out to those of you who held the fort while I nipped out for a very quick toilet break! 😂

Your generosity and support today has made me realise just how loved this little shop is here in Melbourne. I honestly couldn’t be prouder that I get to call this my job. Thank you for supporting this little dream of mine and for making today one I’ll never forget. 💖🫶🏻

Another upgrade for the shop!! ✨

We’ve just installed a brand new jewellery display to house all 5 of our makers in one place. This was a little passion project I took on completely on my own initiative, and after weeks of planning, building (and a lot of learning along the way 😅), it’s finally finished!

I’m so proud of how it’s turned out and can’t wait for you to see it in person 🥰

Hunt for hidden pictures, solve the puzzles, and complete the trail to earn your prize!

This event is FREE to play, just simply collect your Activity Booklet from Dabble & Mooch on any day during the trail weeks, between 10am and 4pm. Once you’ve completed the trail, return your booklet to Dabble & Mooch to collect your prize.
