This week we say goodbye to our lovely Louise ✨

Louise’s journey with us has been short but sweet, she joined us at a very busy time and integrated into the team seamlessly, always busy making sure the salon was spotlessly clean and her experience in most treatments helped make the salon run smoothly whilst going through a transitional period 💫

We are sad to see Louise go, the salon has gone through a lot of changes and events recently and I know how unsettling it is for our clients but rest assured we have some amazing new therapists joining us in the next few weeks and I am gradually easing myself back into work so all your upcoming treatments will be covered with more availability and exciting new treatments being introduced 🌟

I thought I’d share a little update of my cancer journey to let you all know how I’m getting on 💫

So just over a week ago I got to ring the bell to mark the end of my treatment, although this is a huge milestone and such a massive relief there’s still a way to go and I’m at a stage where the symptoms become worse before peaking and start to get better.

I’m day 11 post treatment and they weren’t exaggerating when they said that the symptoms would get worse after the treatment, the pain and uncomfortableness is off the scale sometimes and even though going through treatment was tough I’m finding this part of the process so much worse and difficult to cope with.

I’m hoping my symptoms peak soon and I’ll been on the road to healing and recovery. I won’t find out for 3 months when I have my scan if it’s all worked so that will be the next hurdle so for now I’m concentrating on my healing with rest, self care and positivity and hoping that I’ll soon be back in the salon where I belong.

I miss everyone so much and for someone who is always on the go finding not being able to do normal things is a struggle but one I know I have to get through to get better.
