It's Wednesday, but more importantly it's the day the Three Lions kick off their World Cup campaign against Croatia.

Let's get behind the lads, but let's also get behind the fantastic pubs, bars, cafés and hospitality businesses across Margate that will be hosting fans, serving great food and helping make the next few weeks something special for our town

Whether you're a lifelong football fanatic or couldn't tell a corner from a corner shop, the World Cup always brings people together. Friends, families and visitors all enjoying the atmosphere, supporting local businesses and soaking up the summer.

So for the next few weeks we proudly and unapologetically raise the St George's flag for England, for Margate, and for everyone working hard to make matchdays memorable.

Whatever the weather, our little shopping centre always brings the colour. 🌈
Okay, so this image is AI-generated and some will call it "AI muck" or "a bit cheesy"... and they're probably right!

But with the rain pouring down in Margate today, we couldn't help imagining what The Centre would look like if the sunshine made a surprise cameo.
We reckon it might look something like this. Honest. 😉

So why not come and keep dry, grab a coffee, enjoy a light bite, have a browse around the independents and make a day of it. The weather outside might be miserable, but it's always bright inside.
