This Saturday we'll be attending the North West Rail & Transport Collectors' fair at Crewe Alexandria football ground with our trade stall. A great show for transport memorabilia and railwayana alike, photos, models etc. Well worth a look in.

Our shop will be open through out usual hours.

Thursday 3rd June 2026;

Back in stock now at long last are Hornby's 8 pin HM7000 sound decoders. Great quality DCC sound at a very reasonable price. Sound files for classes 25, 33 and 52 have been recently made available with class 390 Pendolino coming soon also.

Also from Hornby is the class 805 in Avanti West Coast livery. We've only got the one left at £515.

We've had a steady flow of preowned N gauge items come in over time, including an ever illusive Graham Farish DP1 in as preserved condition. DCC ready with directional lighitng, yours for £169. Blood n custard coaches also arrived with this collection, should you fancy a full train.

As we are heading towards summer and things are slowing down (fact) , for any of you regulars who actually like a trip out to our shop for a chat, a free cuppa and even a biscuit we are now offering FREE BOOK FRIDAY but the offer is on every day actually until further notice, For each customer who spends £49 or more in our shop you can choose a free book of your choice from the thousands we have on sale in our shop to the cover value of £15 Just ask about this when in the shop.

Also of note is the upcoming North West Rail & Transport Collectors' Fair, on Saturday 13th June at Crewe Alexandra Football club - only a short walk from Crewe station and a well established event now. Only £3 entry, a cheap day out with 30+ traders including ourselves.

Anyone considering using us for any on line or mail order purchases before Christmas we would strongly recommend you do this by this Friday to make sure it arrives in time for Wednesday xmas eve, due to massive demand at this time of the year on the Postal service just using 1st class post will not guarantee it arrives in time for Christmas, unless using a Next day service , so from Friday we will be using Next Day Special delivery which will incure extra fees.

Today we had in a very clean collection of un run Hornby 1950s / 60s steam and associated rolling stock all mint and boxed such as theses Gresley Suburban coaches shown below for just £45 each, most of the collection we will be taling to the Manchester Show this very weekend.

Other nice items in over the last few days include this very nice TMC branded Hornby NSE Class 50 Achillies with V5 sound for £245
Another very nice item landed today in the shape of ths Hornby Wainwright H Class in stunning SECR livery , thats a very rare item now for £159

And finally we eventually found our box of Christmas decorations including this very furry Santa to get us all in the Christmas Spirit, its free mince pies and choccys for any visiting customers until Christmas eve, while stocks last.
