Good morning Parents and Carers,
I hope you’re all keeping healthy.
This is potentially going to be a really difficult time for both parents and children, being isolated from their friends, and routines being disrupted. I can’t think of a better way to feel happy than to play drums. So, after careful consideration of the current guidelines and with the wonderful support of Cadishead Band, I am pleased to announce that I am able to offer 1 to 1 tuition.
Strict hygiene controls will be adhered to and only one drummer and one parent or carer will be allowed in the music room at any one time. All equipment will be wiped down between lessons and a 1.5 meter distance will be in place between the drum kits.
As a result of the schools being closed I will be based in Cadishead Band Room on Liverpool Road at the corner of Ferryhill Road, Irlam on a Monday and Tuesday only. Group sessions are not an option for safety reasons as this does not comply with current guidelines.
I propose to offer 20 minute lessons from 10am to 2pm and again from 3pm to 7pm to allow as many pupils as possible to access this opportunity and to keep a little bit of normality for your children.
Each 1 to 1 twenty minute lesson will cost £10.
Obviously spaces are very limited and unfortunately will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

For ease of communication, I propose to set up a WhatsApp group for each time slot, so please include your mobile phone number so individual slots can be allocated.
I will try to accommodate as much as possible any particular requests you have to fit in with your childcare and work arrangements, but nothing can be promised at this time.
Once you have been notified your child has a place (via WhattsApp), payments must be made by bank transfer the day before the lesson with your childs’ name as payment reference or the lesson slot will not be available.
