After much soul-searching and talking things through with my family, I have made the decision to close SFS Cycles permanently from now on. It was not an easy decision but it is the right one.

I have really enjoyed my time in Levenshulme but the time is right to move on. Thanks to all of you that have supported the business over the past two and a bit years.

I do have a few bikes to sell and a workshop to clear, so will be around for a few more weeks. If you need some help please ring me and I'll do my best to get you back on the road.

Hello to all you cycling people out there. Just wanted to let you know that after Thursday this week (1st August) I will be closed for a holiday until Tuesday 13th August. I am full up with repair jobs until then sorry.

Hello, I arrived safely home from my "expedition" to The Hebrides and the shop is now open with it's new hours of opening. Tuesday to Thursday 11am to 5pm and Fridays 9am to 4pm. I will also be opening on 2 or 3 Saturdays each month. This week (4th May) I will be taking some of my more exotic bikes to the Popup Bikes Manchester Bike Jumble at Arch 5, Corporation Stree M4 4DG by the Northern Quarter. They sell gorgeous coffee and cakes too so why not "Popup" and take a look at what is on offer from a variety of sellers.
In the meantime, why not pop into my shop behind the Levenshulme Antiques Village to get your bike checked over/serviced now the weather is on the up.
Looking forward to helping you keep your bikes out of sheds and skips and getting them on the road for longer.

Here's hoping that you all have had/are having a great Bank Holiday weekend.
I am getting booked up for repairs/servicing this week so contact me soon if you need your bike sorting before I go on my holiday after Thursday this week. I will reopen on Tuesday 30th April. From then on I will be closed on Sundays and Mondays and open 11am - 5pm Tuesdays to Thursdays and 11am 4:30pm Fridays. Saturday openings will be advertised via Facebook or my website sfscycles dot co dot uk and on the information found via Google maps.
I will be devoting my "at work" time to SFS Cycles after my holidays and will be spreading the word that I am offering great value repairs, servicing and parts as well as having reliable refurbished "around town bikes" for sale too.
Don't forget to book your bike in for an after winter service to keep it going for longer and to save money on future repair costs.

Hello on this slightly warmer Friday!
This is a bit of advance warning that I will be away after the 4th April until 30th April. I will be having a bit of a re-launch when I get back which may include increased publicity to let people now that SFS Cycles exists. Hoping to have a range of plant based lubricants and cleaners in for then too.
I am starting to see a few bikes coming in for a clean up/service after their winter efforts in keeping Manchester moving. So if your bike needs something similar I advise you to get in touch and book it in so it can be done before I close at the beginning of April.
It is only two weeks to Easter now so I will be publishing my opening hours for the Bank Holidays early next week.

Hello folks,
As per a previous post I will now be opening, Monday, Thursday and Friday 10:45 to 5pm throughout February. I will also be opening on Saturdays 17th and 24th February 10am to 3:30pm. In addition, towards the end of February I will be opening on Wednesdays as well. This is all leading to being open 5 days per week from April (after Easter).
I will keep updating any changes to this on here and on Google and my website.
