Hollie Cooper
I create contemporary ceramic pieces, featuring decorative and functional wares using the traditional wheel thrown and plaster mold techniques.

My work is colourful and uplifting with design elements that are original in form and recognisable as my own.

As a huge lover of maximalist interiors and individuality, this drives my passion to create beautifully vibrant pieces whilst serving a functional purpose.

Anastassia Zamaraeva My clay work sits on the meeting point between art and art therapy. I use clay to explore my inner world as well as our collective unconscious, making the work deeply personal yet relatable.

The sculptures depict people, beings and creatures that exist somewhere beyond the conscious realm.

Alison Waters - My work is based upon the environment that surrounds me and until recently focused on the ephemerality of nature. However, a recent move of studios to Canal Street, Stockport has inspired and influenced me to create a new body of industrial style work.

Stockport’s architecture reflects both the Victorian industrial age and mid 20th century Modernism; brick chimneys and brutalist shapes stand side by side in this northern town. Currently the town is undergoing a massive regeneration and I am looking to capture and document this juxtaposition of styles as its urban landscape changes once again.

Frances Savage is a Manchester based ceramicist and member of .

Frances loves to make pots that are joyful to use as part of everyday rituals to encourage a sense of comfort and warmth.

Moving into a newer body of work, Frances is exploring the possibilities of low-fired terracotta slipware, drawing decorative inspiration from the traditions of British slipware and folklore, to create contemporary tableware.

She is a great admirer of Medieval pottery and hopes to create friendly forms in an expressive manner with generous curves, slipped surfaces and playful handles.

She is fascinated with people’s relationships to material objects and loves to leave traces of the maker on her pieces to encourage a dialogue with the user.

Percy Dean - Manchester based ceramicist and newest member of

My ceramics are wholly influenced, by place. I try to focus on experiences I have while running in the Fells surrounding Manchester UK.

I want the work I produce to somehow convey the impact that comes from solitude in wild places.

The textures I encounter and how the harsh elements can direct the colour and emotion of those Northern landscapes.

Katie Diana Nelson - I make every individual piece by hand using slow, hand-building processes and also throwing on the wheel.
I rarely make two of the same pieces as I am continuously developing with each creation.

It’s important to me that I keep the human touch visible in everything that I make. I love the small imperfections that make something treasured truly special, just like the beautifully flawed bodies that have inspired much of my work.

In a world where we all feel compelled to relentlessly strive for perfection and many of the objects in our homes are mass-produced, I’m hoping my pieces can inspire a love for the beauty of the irregular, uneven and imperfect.

Tom Longden is a ceramicist who works out of in Manchester.

For me the act of making benefits my life in many ways, space to think in my busy times and a limitless amount of things to think about in my down time. An idea instills a huge amount of excitement, an eagerness to get started. A finished piece gives an even bigger sense of pride and satisfaction.

“Making play the priority, function comes second, maybe third if at all.”
