Supply Chain Manager
Full time - Manchester

18k - 22k per annum.

We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager to join our team. An integral role in the business reporting directly into the Operations Manager. Working alongside our production, quality and customer service departments, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role (within a warehouse environment) with great people management skills to support our purchasing and stores teams. This is the opportunity to work with the current team to further define and manage the purchasing process and supply chain strategy.

Main Responsibilities:
Review and authorise day to day purchasing.
High Volume - Low volume fabricated components.
Bespoke engineered components.
Supplier Management.
Develop a network of suppliers capable of supporting current requirements and strategic goals, building close relationships with current suppliers.
Systems upkeep ensuring all information is up to date to ensure supply continuity.
Incoming logistics (Sea & air Freight)
Supporting the Warehouse Co-Ordinator.
Stock Control - daily/weekly PI counts/annual stocktake.
Ensuring kitted parts are provided to production in a timely manner.
Continuity of lineside stock levels.
Dispatching of goods to customers (UK and Worldwide using various shipping methods).
Attending meetings across all areas of the business as required.
Liaising with the quality team to deal with issues as they arise.
Management and Leadership of the Purchasing functions.
Coaching and leadership of direct reports.

Requirements for the role:
3-5 years managerial experience within a manufacturing/Engineering environment ideally in a similar role (covering purchasing with some knowledge of the warehouse function).
Good people management skills with the ability to train and develop team members.
Strong IT skills with experience of stock management systems, spreadsheets, email etc.
Ability to analyse current process and make improvements as necessary.
Strong communicator at all levels with the ability to ensure that key stakeholders feel involved in any changes.
CIPS qualification (desired but not essential).

Inventory and Store Manager

Out rapidly growing team is looking for inventory and store manager. You will be responsible for a vital part of the Supply Chain Process, you will manage the people, processes and systems in order to ensure that goods are received and dispatched appropriately and that targets are met. You will need to understand how the function contributes to the Company’s overall vision.

Main Responsibilities includes
Good receiving, both physical and on the system .
Goods dispatch, both physical and on the system.
QC inspection of Finished Goods into stock and PDI.
Establish and maintaining safe storage areas.
Monitor and maintain the condition of inventory.
Manage yard staff, FLT drivers, delivery drivers and dispatch operatives.

You need to have experience in a similar role and environment, and of managing a team. You will need to be:

Numerate and proficient in IT
Experienced using WMS
A team-player
An excellent planner and organiser, accurate and with first rate attention to detail
An effective problem-solver
Comfortable with deadlines and working under pressure at times

You also need to have good understanding of patterning and structures of garments. Experience in manufacturing or similar position is preferred.

Clothing Material Expert
Full Time - Manchester

We are looking for an expert to join our team.

Main responsibilities will include

Source, research, and develop fabrics and trims and communicate findings to the design teams and other cross functional teams (as applicable) including samples, costing, lead-times and all required Fabric Development Sheet (FDS) information.
Create seasonal fabric concepts and present findings to the design teams.
Build seasonal material data sheets that initiate the FDS process for all new fabrics.
Set up, maintain, and track fabric qualities (material chips) and FDS in Yunique system.
Review incoming developments and make comments based on design feedback.
Develop internal processes to ensure cross functional transparency for all fabric development

Requirements for the role

BA/BS degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience.
5+ years in roles of increasing responsibility in fabric sourcing, textile design, research and development, quality assurance or similar industry.
Strong experience with fabric constructions, dye techniques, finishes, and an awareness of garment construction and manufacturing/sourcing processes.
Experience in knits, woven, and a variety of fabrications. Knowledge of sweaters yarns preferred.
Working knowledge of product development and QA.
Experience with environmental standards and ethical sourcing

Design Manger

We currently looking for a Design Manager will manage the key technical aspects of architectural and interior designs prepared by the consultant team and ensure that the proposed designs and details are buildable.

Job will include:
Assist in the preparation of the design programme both internally and with consultant team.
Monitor and regularly report current position against agreed design programme.
Work with consultants to deliver trade design packages on time and accurately.
Monitor consultants' fees and ensure that any requests for additional fees are proportionate and agreed in advance.
Control the design development and implement policies and objectives effectively.
Review and comment on the design information and deal with all queries efficiently and appropriately.
Actively review and critique drawing information during design development.
Actively take part in regular design team and site meetings to progress site delivery.
Ensure Compliance with requirements of Planning, Building Control and Warranty Provider and any other relevant parties.
Deal with Statutory utilities in matters of Easements, Diversions and New Connections where appropriate.

Specifications for the role

Experience in both pre-construction and Construction Phase essential.
Experience in large scale construction projects essential.
Must be self-motivated, proactive and be able to demonstrate ability to co-ordinate and lead the design process unaided.
Experience of working with Developers and Main Contractors essential.

Required Qualifications

Degree qualified with BSc Hons in Construction Management
A BTEC in Building Studies, Building Engineering or Building Management
Or a HNC / HND / Degree in Construction Management or Architecture (including an industrial placement)
BA Hons Architecture • Professional Membership MCIOB, ARB or equivalent required
