More shipments already collected today thanks to Mrs Raresoft as I'm once again out and about. There are some more to send this evening, where I will add tracking URLs to everything that is going out. Parcelforce / RM have missed the last two windows!

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, in the near future things will be changing. Starting from next week, the website will be redesigned, stock updated / removed / consolidated, with a new path and focus going forwards. Integrated communications and a dedicated system for the source-to-order system, which is how Raresoft started.

Part of that new focus will be developing and releasing my own products. I'm not talking about something ridiculously obscure like "Super mega bucking for Marushin 8mm bbs" , but in many cases just things for the every day ai***ft player...eventually culminating in my first RIF release...I already have plans 🙏

But for now, my first design is completed. I'll be prototyping it over the next few weeks, and with any luck, it will be available to you all by Christmas.

I have another project also completed awaiting prototyping, and another being manufactured as we speak. Safe to say I've been extremely busy, so if the stock levels are looking barren...that's why 👀

I do love a Tanaka WZ63. Made before the 🔥arms and swords law, so the construction is metal, mostly aluminium alloy.

It took over 30 years for us to see an update to some other "firsts", such as the MGC P7M13.

I think it's high time we got a modern equivalent of this 1993 GBB in all it's glory.

The Akrivas are now up on the site!

I've been asked several times for these, but it's been a difficult journey trying to get them. Now working with their distributor, I can gladly bring them to the UK at great prlces 👌

I will be stocking all three variants, so that's the solid stock Type 56 (as seen here), the 56-1 underfolder, and the 56-2 sidefolder, as well as both gas and CO² magazines.

Expected delivery mid-november.

𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙪𝙥𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙚

In the next few weeks, I'm going to be making some changes to several areas of the website. This will include removing a lot of old items that are no longer in stock and that I don't plan to stock again, and consolidating on the things I do plan to stock in the future (I will update on this separately).

Also, I'll be adding another section for something that I still get asked for regularly, and that's sourcing stuff from Japan. It's difficult to manage so many enquiries manually, mixed with other enquiries as well as the day job, and things get missed. I'll be doing what I can to streamline this and make it more efficient, as well as doing things on my end to make things more visible. It's a step that needs to be done.

Lastly, I have some very exciting things to share in the next few weeks. One new manufacturer onboard, that make GBB Type 56s, I'm sure that gives it away. Also, some other "garments" in progress. Not some random nonsense made in China, but hand made. If SOKL is a familiar name to you, then it's something you'll be excited about.

We're at just over 24 hours remaining on this one.

Some more packages will start shipping this week, starting with the folks who have requested their Brens be sent already. Unfortunately there was a little chap who decided he needed to go to the vets as an emergency (he chooses the best times).

Besides doing more comps and trying to get some more interesting things in the background, I'm now at a stage where I want to produce things myself. Nothing groundbreaking, just stuff that doesn't currently exist, and I want it to, because I like it. That's the criteria.

First off, this suppressor model, based off of the TOS AK47 model.

I like AKs, and with the love of retro AR accessories, I feel old school AKs deserve some love too, other than Zenitco everything. Most stuff on the market for older suppressors is some form of PBS replica. I really like the more industrial look of this Yugo design.

These attach in a slightly different way to the usual stuff, in that there's a split collar that clamps on the front sight post, when a collar is screwed in place. The thread is of course 14mm CCW, suitable for most ai***ft AKs. Currently the split collar width is designed for my Realsword, but I will find the width of front sight posts for other models, and offer them accordingly.

Material wise, no monkey metal or poorly coated aluminium here. These are built to my specifications, and built to last. 304 stainless steel for the tip, body and collar, and 6061 aluminium for the split collar, as that needs a slight bit of bend to actually clamp. It will be CrSiN PVD coated, ensuring a glossy finish, and will last outdoors.

Who would be interested in one of these? They will likely sit somewhere in the region of 80 beans.

I've had a lot of shinies through over the years, but none literally as shiny as these two, and none since.

All hand engraved. To say they were works of art is an understatement. And to top it off, of course they were functional Tanakas. Can you imagine turning up with these in a leather holster to a game? That's the reality for the current owner of these two beauties.

I loved these so much, that the next competition is very heavily "inspired" by these two. Watch this space 👀

But just like how wheels can make a car, grips are also equally important. Perhaps I'll have my own manufactured, but that's another conversation.

Who else likes their bling, or is it too obnoxious beyond good old-fashioned nickel?
