Our Calor Gas section offers a tremendous selection of appliances, as well as gas. We carry a large range of outdoor clothing, footwear and workwear with leading brands such as Joules, Hunter, Musto, Berghaus, Hoggs, Dickies, Buckler. The firm also supplies an incredible amount of machinery, including combine harvesters and construction excavators. Our network of branches has expanded to 20 locations across the East Anglia, East Midlands and the South East of England.

Yesterday evening, our very own Ian Cobley, one of our HGV Drivers, had the privilege of taking his daughter to her Prom in true Ernest Doe style!

Arriving in our beautifully presented Volvo lorry, complete with a pink bow to match the occasion, she certainly made an entrance. 🎀✨

⭐ A proud day for Ernest Doe & Sons Ltd

Yesterday, we were honoured to receive recognition at both The Lincolnshire Show and the Family Business United National Family Business of the Year Awards.

In the evening, Angus Doe, Lisa Blinkhorne and Hayley Hill attended the awards ceremony at the Royal Geographical Society in London.

We were delighted to be named Homes & Gardens Family Business of the Year 2026 and also recognised as Runners-Up in the Retail & Wholesale Family Business of the Year category.

Earlier in the day, our Lincolnshire Show team received the Leverton Perpetual Challenge Award for Best Large Agricultural Stand. For only our second appearance at the Lincolnshire Showground, it was particularly special recognition for everyone involved behind the scenes and on the stand over the two-day event.

These achievements belong to the people behind Ernest Doe – our teams across the business, the Doe family, and the customers and communities who continue to support us.
