Anyone else buying themselves flowers to brighten up these grey days?
I do love these cosy days indoors but I’m very much looking forward to spring sunshine and seeing the flowers bloom in the garden. To just sit outside with a cuppa without being blown away or rained on would be great.

Enjoying one of favourite candle company’s .co.uk
If you don’t follow Adriana then you should! Her slow living posts are so tranquil. I enjoy reading her weekly blogs on her website. And her short and sweet vlogs over on YouTube. Her and husband run a small candle business and I’ve been buying them for years now, I can truly say they smell incredible 👌🏼 highly recommend

Weekly round up

1. Weekly planning, a must!
2. Finally getting to use our new hand lotion by , this smell 👌🏼
3. I like to try new recipes, this week is sauerkraut. Although it will only be for me and mum, no one else likes it.
4. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this table clear for longer than 2minutes, anyone relate?
5. Still obsessing over our bookcase lighting. Handmade in the uk, can’t wait to see these age over time.
6. New addition we found at the antique centre, ready for when we decorate the hallway, Caleb has claimed it for his hot wheels and Lego
7. Practising some embroidery, not bad for first time
8. Always visiting a garden centre
9. Plenty of fresh air
10. Collecting feathers on my morning walks 🪶

Well hello 👋🏼
It’s been a while.

I thought my first post in over a year should be of this beautiful boy. How are you all? We’re all well here, we had a lovely Christmas and New Year, followed by a very chilled, slow January… my favourite kind.

I’ll be honest, I’ve been avoiding my Cal & Co Instagram. I’ve found it a little overwhelming and, at times, quite emotional. It holds so many memories of my little shop. While I’m really enjoying the freedom that comes without it and the extra time with my family, I do still miss it.

I think I also stayed quiet because I felt I didn’t have much to offer without a shop front, and I worried the content might not be what you’d want to see. But I’ve missed this little space. I’ve missed the beautiful small businesses I worked alongside, the accounts I love to follow, the sense of community, and your support 🤍

I’m still selling stock and homewares, and I still make personalised products, and I just want to say a huge thank you to those of you who’ve continued to order and support me. It truly means more than you know.

Things might look a little different around here now. I’ll be sharing more of the little moments in my everyday life, slower, cosier, and more personal. I know that might not be what some of you originally followed me for, but I really hope you’ll stick around.

Thank you for being here ✨

The past few days have consisted of homemaking and alittle work. I’ve made Caleb’s favourite banana bread which has no refined sugar or dairy. It’s delicious 👌🏼 recipe from I must make this every few weeks.

Starting to think about our veggie patch, and what to plant. I’m enjoying learning and growing our own food, it’s very rewarding and a great thing to do with kids.

Seeing the first daffodils on my runs 💛

This rainy weather has me hunkered down at home, planning the next few months, from home projects, to gardening jobs and brainstorming for Cal & Co.
Candles are always lit at the moment. I have a banana bread in the oven and just hoping the rain stops for a little break so I don’t get soaked on the school run.
