Summer Holiday craft workshops now available to book!

Come along to the Crafty Cabin on Friday 24th July or Friday 7th August for some crafting fun with an Under the Sea theme - suggested age is 5 +. Lots of challenge for all ages (parental help may be needed for younger children) and great crafts to proudly take home!

Don't forget you can also make a day of it and visit the Museum of Power and Steam Pump tea rooms (please note that the train and fairy village are open on Thursday's only in the school holidays),

We had a great time at the STEM themed Museum Takeover last Monday - it was great to see everyone relax and the children enjoy all the activities as well as the museum and the grounds.

Our next Museum Takeover will be held on Monday 3rd August at the usual time of 10.30am to 2pm. As always a themed pawprint badge will be available to purchase at booking if wished. Refreshments and snacks are included and you are welcome to bring along a picnic to enjoy in the grounds.

Our next Museum Takeover is on Monday and the Paw Print STEM Challenge badges have just arrived in the post! I am pleased to say that I do have a limited number spare for hose who would still like to order one.

You can do as much or as little as you like on the day with plenty of different challenges to get stuck in to! Does your child have a favourite STEM project that they would like to bring along? If so, I would love to see it.

Don't forget to bring your picnic to enjoy in the grounds and there will be refreshments available on the day.

New session!

Positivity and time out is so important and junk/gratitude journaling is a way not only discover your creativity but also to take time out for yourself and build a calm and positive mindset whilst making friends. Come along each week to create and build your journal and make it your calm space.

Every Friday from the 17th July we will be running a junk journaling club! Everyone is welcome with suggested minimum age as 11+. Whether you are a beginner or already junk journaling you will have plenty to choose from to decorate your pages including papers, stickers, stamps, tape, ephemeria, paints and more. You can of course also bring along your own items such as photos, tickets, magazines, postcards to personalise your journal. You will also learn new jornaling techniques. If you would like to order a journal then send a DM to organise.

The theme will be S.T.E (A). M and we have lots planned to keep you all busy with lots of hands on activities including:

Design and make your own marble maze
Create a gliding robot
Build the tallest tower
Slime making
And much more

Come along and enjoy the activities, make new friends, explore the museum and have a picnic in the grounds. Refreshments are also included.

Our next Home Education and SEN Museum Takeover will be on the 6th July!

We will be getting stuck in to lots of STE(A)M activities and challenges! There is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy a picnic. If your child collects Pawprint badges then you can order one for them at booking!
