We're open every day over the weekend - catch us from 9:30-5:00 today, 11:00-4:00 on Sunday and 10:00-4:00 on Bank Holiday Monday. Normal service resumes on Tuesday!

Record Store Day | Saturday 18th April

We hope you'll join us for Record Store Day this April!

Exclusive vinyl available on this day, with 10% off all non-RSD records, CDs and tapes - and books in the bookshop too!

First come, first served! We advise visiting us early to avoid disappointment.

This will be our second year celebrating Record Store Day, and we'd love to see you there! Both shops will be open from 8am onwards.

Novel Sounds is an independent record shop based in Maldon, Essex. We sell new and secondhand vinyl, turntables, band t-shirts and prints. Order online or in store.
