Good morning everyone. Happy 1st June.
First day back at work today after having a week off with hubby. I'd be lying if I sad it was a lovely week, it was bloody awful due to the heat 🫠 but I am glad I wasn't working in the heat. Yesterday was much more pleasant. It still reached 27° for a short while but there was a lovely breeze so much more comfortable.
Oh, and I made a pompom. Something I haven't done in years.

Good morning.
Well that was a rude awakening. Projectile vomit all over the bathroom at 4.30am 🤮
I had to wake my poor hubby to help me clean it up. Now I'm feeling pretty weak so just laying on the bed and hoping to fall back to sleep.
This hot weather seriously needs to do one 😩

Of course your baby needs a hat in the middle of a heatwave 🤭😂

OK, you might not need one now but why not be prepared for when the temperature does fall.

Although some of these hats are made in the same colour - from the same ball of yarn in fact - they look totally different due to the colour placement. That is why I have them all listed individually so you know you will receive the exact hat you want.

My favourite are the brighter rainbow ones 🌈

Good morning everyone. Happy Friday 😀
We woke early this morning to grey skies and a breeze and thought it prime to to go and get the grocery shopping done before it gets too hot. Boy were we wrong! The temperature rose quite quickly and the air is still very thick although the trees are gently moving. I nearly passed out twice in Tesco 🫠

Good morning everyone.
We visited my Aunt, Uncle and cousin yesterday afternoon which was nice. Hubby loves visiting as my Aunt always makes him some rock cakes 😂
Although it's was cooler here yesterday, it reached 27° whereas the day before it's was 35° but it was still far too hot for me. Time early evening though there was a lovely breeze and we could actually turn the fan off and just have the windows and doors open. It was nice to be able to have a proper knitting session in the evening. I've been working on a baby cardigan sleeve all week where it's just been too hot.
Tomorrow is supposed to be up in the 30s again. Roll on next week when tempretures should drop back to the low 20s. I'll be a happy bunny then 😂
