I’m currently planning my sister in laws hen do! And whilst doing it, I’ve had a thought..

So I’ve put together little goody bags, itineraries etc for each hen attending. Ive used my current suppliers for the gift shop to source suitable items, and I thought this is definitely a service I could offer! (This is why my business brain doesn’t ever turn off 🤣)

I could cater to different budgets, events, birthday bags, corporate bags, party bags, hen do bags.. or even personalised hampers. Obviously I can’t plan your event but if you give me details, I can do a personal shopping service! A weight lifted off your shoulders.

I would really like to spend more time next year expanding the gift shop services and I think there’s definitely potential for personal shopping like this, and gift wrapping.

We kindly had an invite to attend an opening evening for the new The Olive Tree Wine and Tapas Bar this week! Unfortunately with it being our busy time, I couldn’t make it but said to the ladies, ‘I’ll put an olive wreath aside because I’d like to pop round and give a gift from us all at Mablethorpe Ice Cream Company ‘ it’s just coincidence that we have these beautiful wreaths currently in stock.

So I was waiting for their opening day this Saturday! But this morning, the guys popped in to buy one! The member of staff today, Amanda rang and told me so I had to run down and say no you can’t buy it because I want to give you one! 🤣🤍🫒

Anyway, how nice are they!! We wish The Olive Tree the best of luck in their new business and we can’t wait to pop in! ✨🫶🏻

The biggest compliment ever is when people say the shop is beautiful and today, we’ve had lots of just that!! 🥹🥹

We know that this kind of shop is a luxury and not a necessity, we know that life is expensive but if anything, that’s why purchases like the ones from our shop mean so much, not just to you, but to us too! because they are so special ✨

I honestly can’t thank people enough for calling in, browsing, chatting, shopping, following and supporting us! We’ve noticed we are getting much busier and it feels like the shop is slowly becoming that little bit more established. It’s going to take a while, we’ve only been open 16 months and people are still coming in saying they didn’t know we were here! So if you can, we would love for you to spread the word ❤️
