We've come to a sad decision - we are no longer going to make our soy candles. Its been a really hard decision but with all the testing that has to go on in the background and all the legislation in place its just got to a point where it isnt viable for us to carry on making them. Dont worry though we will still be carrying on with our Reed Diffusers, Diffuser refills and Soy Wax Melts. There's still a few candles left in the Etsy shop as well if you would like one. We love making our soy wax melts. They are such fun to pour and then de-mould. But once they've been packaged up and sent out to our customers we make sure we send a little note with them to ensure the recipient gets the best out of them. ❤️

So here are a couple of photos of the reed diffusers we make here at Enclosed Eden Home Fragrancing. Like our other products they have been developed to give the very best fragrance throw in your homes, using the best quality materials. It takes quite a while to find the right balance and concentration of fragrance oil to base oil but once we've found it, it really is magical.

We all have a different relationship with our mums and with Mother's Day around the corner, now is a great time to embrace that relationship and show them how much we care. Supporting small business. It's something I'm really passionate about. OK, so I won't lie, we all have a dabble in Amazon and eBay occasionally don't we? They serve a purpose and they aren't going anywhere. But, I love to buy from local businesses when I can. I know from personal experience that it means a huge deal when someone buys one of my products. It's a wonderful validation of all the hard work and love I have put into every detail of the items I make.
And even just showing support in simple ways makes a huge difference. It's great if you like a post but it's even better if you leave a comment, (an emoji works 😘), better still if you share it and believe me it really makes a small business owner sparkle if you 'follow' them. Doing so exposes a business to potential followers and that inturn means the elusive algorithm allows the post to be seen by more people. So go on, find a small business, and share some love.

Do you have a favourite scent? If I had to pick just a couple of my selection I would have to go with Lemongrass & Ginger and Velvet Peony & Our. They're very different but both beautiful in their own way.

It took such a long time to select the fragrances I use in my products. There is a huge selection to choose from and it's a pleasurable minefield to walk through!

Firstly I wanted to pick the best quality fragrances which not only disperse around your room properly.

Secondly, I made sure that there was something for everyone. So you will find florals, citrus, vanilla types and some seasonal fragrances.

And finally I ensured the each have a full depth to them. That means top notes, mid notes and the more lingering bottom notes. So you can smell them when you walk into a room but as you spend time in the room the fragrance develops.

So why did i choose to make reed diffusers and wax melts? Mainly because they make me smile when I walk into our home and it smells so welcoming.

I love our house to smell beautiful but I could never find that perfect balance between the quality of the products and the price I had to pay for them.

I set off on a mission to create something for myself, I researched to the enth degree and I came up with a product which used the same quality materials but at a far less expensive price. Initially it was just for my home but then I gave a few as gifts to my friends and family and they loved them. I created an Etsy shop and the rest is history.

If you're wondering exactly what it is that I make then here's a little preview.

I make luxury reed diffusers which come in the best quality glass bottles and a choice of matt black with a rose gold collar or clear with a silver one. The reeds which I use are specifcally designed to diffuse the base oil and fragrance. It means you get a better scent throw from your diffuser than you would with say a natural rattan reed which will block simply because of the way the plant it is taken from is made.

I also make diffuser refills so you don't have to purchase the full diffuser again, simply choose a new fragrance or even the same one if you've loved it.

And finally, I create soy wax melts. I use a special wax blend, made specifically to melt at the right temperature and difuse the fragrance strongly and evenly.

Each fragrance I have hand selected for my products, not only because it is great quality, but also because its a scent which is rich, strong and gives a real depth of fragrance - that means it has top, mid and base notes. That's what fills your home with fragrance and why you will find it catches your attention in different ways, at different times.

I thought it might be good to reintroduce myself seeing as I have been away from social media for a while.

So here goes, the basics; I live in the New Forest, Hampshire. In love making and creating all kinds of things from amigurumi crochet to marmalade and love plants and nature in general.

My home fragrancing company was borne from those combined passions; creating beautiful things and the inspiration of the world around us.

We all know Valentine's Day is around the corner and it's a lovely time to share our love with those around us. Especially when our friends and family might be feeling lonely or not quite their usual selves, it's a great time to send a little gift to let them know you care.

The wax melts I make are made from a special soy wax, designed especially for wax melts so it melts at the right temperature and releases the fragrance beautifully. I use the best quality fragrance oils at a high percentage to ensure your home is filled with the aroma.

Well this time last year things were definitely different! But I'm determined to focus on the positive... I've added to my home fragrancing range with reed diffusers, refills and soy wax melts and I'm still enjoying being creative and making them.
I send my thoughts and best wishes to all those struggling with this second lockdown looming, and hope that we will all come out the other side of this stronger. Take care everyone. ###
