We gained 100’s of new followers after I posted Nancy and Norman’s birthday pics and explained how I always loose followers, whenever I post about my sausages dogs 😢 So a great big thank you for joining us 🥰

Especially for our new followers, here’s some sausage dog silliness. We met up with Beau, who is Nancy and Norman’s brother and his new brother Bertie this morning for a beautiful sunny walk in the in the hills surrounding Lyme 🥰

Our local tradies are now on site everyday. Dave Street is our builder. He’s worked on a number of projects with us now and also built our house on Silver Street ☺️

James, as always is working like a Trojan 💪🏻 project managing & labouring, around his full time day job. So thank you James 🥰 we appreciate you

Walls are going up and we’ve found a local carpenter who is going to be building our new doorway / windows.

And yes we turned 3 this week, looking forward to our 4th trading year and our big move. My brain is on override with all the decisions and planning 🤯 But so looking forward to bringing this empty property back to life 💕

We turn 3 this week ! 🎉 (enter stage right, giant foil balloon ) and yes we do sell these 🤩

I opened Paper Bird after shielding through COVID, then selling our previous business, then working from home for 2 years and struggling to find my purpose and place in the world.

As a woman fast approaching 40 😎 and having never even worked in a shop before in my life. It was a massive risk !!

But I had passion and drive (and a penchant for taking risks) plus a very supportive but weary husband 😘

Fast forward 3 years and I would like to take this opportunity to thanks each and every person who has supported us. THANK YOU 🤗

All turned out okay in the end, although it hasn’t been plain sailing. We missed the post Covid boom and things for small business has been tricky ever since.

But I have found my calling and so I am really lucky 🙂 and excited for the next chapter (just across the street)

So here’s to the next exciting year, it’s going to be a big one!

Free parking in Lyme Regis today for the blessing of the boats. You can park for free in all the towns cars parks (accept Monmouth Carpark & NCP) so that is Charmouth Road, Woodmead, Broad Street, Cobb Gate, Holmbush 🚙🚗

The sun is shining and the sky is blue, what better day to come and visit Lyme Regis 🥰 Take a lovely stroll along the beautiful back streets and river Lym, explore the wonderful shops and independent businesses, have some lunch grab a coffee, enjoy the beach.
