A list of things we’ve done lately on purpose. For no other reason than they sounded good.

Got the tattoo. Ordered the dessert. Took the breakfast meeting outside. Said yes to the cold plunge. Ice cream on a Wednesday afternoon. The first date at a gig. Enjoyed every glass of prosecco and didn’t overthink it.

This is what we mean when we say Pauseworthy Pleasure. Not the big once-a-year reward you saved up for, but the small on-purpose yeses you fold into a normal week. The choosing is the whole thing. The reasons you give yourself to feel deliciously alive while everyone else is waiting for the weekend, or waiting to earn it.
