Lost in a sea of furniture, pottery and treen - well, really an inaccessible corner of the warehouse - that's where I've been!

The past couple of months has seen me clear two houses and begin a fascinating research project for a local connoisseur.

Correspondence with both the Royal and National Archives has been on the agenda in what is shaping up to be, potentially, the find of a lifetime.

I will share more as the story unfolds but the whole journey feels like an episode of 'Lovejoy' playing out before my very eyes. I haven't figured out my Tinker yet, but there's more than a few candidates for Mr. Gimbert!
