💥Join us this weekend for a day of glorious gravel and quiet backroads in the Shropshire Hills💥

As a part of Shimano’s global DIY gravel event we’ve created a mixed terrain route for you to follow, taking in some of the best tracks and trails in the local area.

The first 20 riders to set out will get a Rebound goody bag filled with Shimano merch, and as an extra treat everyone will be welcomed back to the store with snacks and drinks provided by Madison, Shimano’s UK distributor.

All riders are invited – drop bar or flat bar, pedal powered or e-bike. The theme is one of inclusion and relaxed fun – it is NOT a race and no times will be recorded.

Where: Start/Finish at Epic Cycles (7-8 Tower St, Ludlow SY8 1RL)
When: 31st May (ride to be completed at your own pace, any time between 9am and 4pm)
Distance: 65km (~40 miles)

Announcing Orbea Demo Day x Shimano Rebound📢

Come ride some of our best local multi-terrain roads and trails from Epic Cycles on the 31st of May as part of the global Shimano Rebound event!

We’ve mapped you a route, so all you have to do is rock up and ride.

Everyone will be welcomed back to store with refreshments and chilled vibes, and the first riders to set off will receive a jam packed goody bag as well 🙌

…and why not do it on board a beautiful Orbea Terra gravel bike, or the all-new Orbea Denna e-gravel bike?

We are lucky to be able to offer a Terra in sizes S / M / L / XL and a Denna in both M / L for the day.

ULTIMATE LAYUP - Time have taken the Alpe d’Huez X to an entirely new level with the same top shelf composites layup of Alpe d’Huez Disc. Time updated the carbon/Vectran® composite structure by increasing the amount of high modulus Toray M40J fibers and adding Dyneema®, the World’s Strongest Fiber®, to create their most advanced BCS hybrid blend ever.

VOLUME. COMFORT. SPEED. CONTROL - The Alpe d’Huez X “sweet-spot” resulting from the redesigned chainstay system is 35C tires. But you’ll have a great experience running 28C to 38C options, giving
you loads of versatility.

TIME ROAD GEOMETRY - As you might imagine, simply stuffing 35C tires in our Alpe d’Huez would
be a compromise – Alpe d’Huez X is optimised for the job with a longer wheelbase, slightly slacker head angle and lower bottom bracket.
