Prayer flags or (Buddha Bunting as we affectionately know them) are colourful rectangular cloths used in Tibetan Buddhist and Himalayan traditions to promote peace, compassion, strength, and wisdom. Instead of carrying prayers to gods, the mantras printed on them are believed to be caught by the wind and spread as a blessing into the surrounding environment
Hanging prayer flags on auspicious days (such as the “Blue moon” which is 9;45am this Sunday) maximizes their spiritual benefits and spreads positive energy further. Always hang them on a sunny, windy morning with a pure intention. The most important thing is having good intentions
