An unlikely pair built custom for a returning customer from Norwich. This is an unusual build in that the hubs are from a pair of Mavic eclipse track wheels, what makes this unique is that they are designed for mavic spokes and only mavic spokes but with some custom made spoke washers behind everyone of the straight pull Sapim race spokes in silver we were able to use a pair of silver 20h fixie rims the customer provided. The end result a really unique and fun set of track wheels for bombing around the city on.

Another happy customer with one of the many pairs of wheels built this week along with cycle servicing, this gravel set was assembled by us using our own brand HCW hubs that come with a ratchet drive freehub body system laced 32h to a pair of grey H plus son “the hydra” gravel rims using the finest Sapim race spokes in black with black polyax ni***es, panaracer gravel king tlr tyres in skinwall 700 x 45c perfect for on and off road.

We offer full service and custom work here at Hand Crafted Wheels from basic tune ups of gears and brakes to full custom builds. Trusted by the industry to build wheels for quite a few other shops in east anglia and beyond so you know your getting a fair deal and a good service trusted by those in the trade.

Hope pro 5 DH rear hub laced to a DT Swiss rim with Sapim race spokes and blackened brass Sapim Polyax ni***es sram down hill 7 spd cassette sram 200mm centreline rotor and to shoe it a schwalbe magic Mary tlr soft in 27.5 x 2.40

We have a bicycle here at hand crafted wheels that needs a new home donated by one of our customers we have put some pedals on and given it a mini service so it’s all ready for a new owner it is a large frame so good for someone 5ft 9” upwards and FREE to someone who needs it.

I know we say this every time and one person got very vocal on the socials last time slating us for this but please don’t ask for it so you can sell it later on, nothing more disheartening than seeing a bike that you got up and running again on the shop dime up for sale after the person we gave it to told us a sob story and how grateful they are now they have transport.

So if you’re a tall gent and really needed a bike it’s here come say hi and take it away.

This is a FREE programme run by “the way to go Suffolk” give them a look on Facebook and a follow.

Here now 10am-2pm for a FREE safety check and FREE small repairs including parts so if you need your brakes or gears looking into or a new inner tube cos of a flat tyre come on down I’m here till 2pm and it’s FREE!!!!!!!
