This Vitus Eneagie was shifting poorly on the front, fair play the rider had tried to sort it out, then brought it in.
The outer cable was kinked and fraying by the thumb adjuster (which was also seized) so there was no alternative but an entire new cable. The rear derailleur outer was also deteriorating but I could save that by nipping a little of its length. Brought in and collected today.

The Trek Marlin is by far the most popular mountain bike in our area that I work on.
This one was in for a recommissioning and it was a wise move to get it serviced before riding it again.
The rear brake pads had corroded between the braking material and the pad had delaminated. The front tyre also appeared to have never been seated properly so it was a worthy service.
