My tiny blue teacup painting has arrived back from the printers as a sticker ☕️

I chose a delicate fine china cup because even the smallest residents of the Wild Woodland Cottage appreciate the comfort of a proper cup of tea.

Every month, I paint two original illustrations to become stickers, helping little details from the story travel beyond the page and into your hands. This one will be used to seal one of the special surprises tucked inside an upcoming letter.

A tiny cup, a quiet moment—and perhaps a Jammy Dodger or two.

Come Join the Autumn Workshops!

I have opened up the new dates for my home studio workshops. Come and paint with me for a whole day with a lunch and lots of laughter and tea included 🫖

I have spaces still available for 26th September

All workshops are beginner friendly and I will provide all materials and helpful guidance to creating lovely seasonal paintings.

Festive workshops start in November where you can design a Christmas Card and I will print them for you to send to friends and family.

These make a lovely self-treat day for creative hands and make a fabulous gift. I can provide a presentation note to present in a gift card.

Places book quickly for this time of year so if you fancy coming along, please secure your seat as a maximum of 6 people per class.

Meet Nib—the first character to join your collection from the Wild Woodland Cottage 🐭

Every month, subscribers will receive a special collector’s card featuring one of the story’s hand-painted characters. On the reverse, you’ll discover their personality, favourite things and a few little details about their woodland life.

Naturally, the collection had to begin with Nib: a curious little wood mouse with ink-smudged paws, a tiny notebook and a nose for adventure.

Meet Hazel—the gentle heart of the Wild Woodland Cottage 🦔

Hazel is happiest in the warmth of the kitchen, surrounded by familiar things and the comforting smell of something cooking. While Nib is usually rushing off in search of his next adventure, Hazel is there to remind him to slow down, think things through and perhaps have something to eat first.

Every character in Letters from the Wild Woodland Cottage is painted by hand, especially for the story. As the monthly letters arrive, you’ll gradually get to know Hazel and discover the part she plays in this little woodland world.

I think we all need a Hazel in our lives.

When I first dreamed up Letters from the Wild Woodland Cottage, I hoped there might be a few people who would enjoy escaping into this gentle little world with me each month.

To know that 156 of you have already chosen to join the adventure means more than I can say.
