The 445 Club presents . . . An Evening with WATCHER HIFI
Following on from the success of our last event with ARKE Audio, we are pleased to announce another exclusive event on Wednesday the 12th of November.
If you’ve ever toyed with the idea of building a kit speaker but feel that you really don’t have the time, skills, tools or space then this is for you.
One of Americas most highly regarded speaker kits is now being built to order in the UK and it’s your opportunity to hear the Criton 1TD-X from Creative Sounds Solutions.
The Criton 1TD-X is a highly acclaimed speaker kit that has earned rave reviews from critics and customers alike. Praised for its detailed yet non-fatiguing sound, deep and impactful bass, and exceptional imaging, the 1TD-X has received hundreds of 5-star reviews and appears on multiple "best of" lists from reviewers.
Watcher HiFi is a small, one-person business, based in Derby and run by Martin Allit.
Martin is offering a refreshingly unique and bespoke experience, crafting handmade speakers from locally sourced hardwood and interesting materials, we’ll share more with you about the speakers and Martins approach in the next few days.
There are many benefits to buying a kit speaker, one of which is that more of your money is going into the components rather than the margins of the manufacturer, distributor and retailer, so if mass produced, soulless speakers aren’t your thing then come along and join us at what proves to be another great event.
The event is to be held at Outram Fields, 250 Twentywell Lane, Bradway, Sheffield S17 4QF.
A stunning venue which sits on the outskirts of both Sheffield and the Peaks and is beautifully appointed and furnished, with ample free parking.
Numbers are strictly limited to 20 persons and entry to the event will be £8 Including tea, coffee and nibbles throughout the evening.

The 445 Club……..
Set up about 8yrs ago, our aim was to set up a small gathering of like-minded hi-fi and music enthusiasts to regularly get together with examples of vintage and modern hi-fi components, music and chat set in an small village hall in Whitwell, Notts. As an extension of the club format, we are able to present guest speakers from the audio industry to give us a personal insight into their respective journeys. The current stunning location allows us to showcase products closer to a home environment than an audio show.
While we may ask for a small admission charge for any event we organise, this fee covers the costs incurred by the 445 Club only and not the guest speakers. A portion of the fee generated will be given to chosen charities of Cinnamon CC
