Just a quick post to say sorry for the radio silence lately.

We've got a poorly kitty at the moment who's sadly fractured two bones, so he's now on strict crate rest until he can have surgery in 3 weeks' time. As you can imagine, it's been a bit of a whirlwind the last few days, and I'm currently learning to play nurse!

It's made even more interesting with his sister, who's also in the house, so keeping them both happy and calm is quite the challenge.

If anyone has any tips for keeping a kitten comfortable and entertained while on crate rest, I'd be so grateful to hear them!!😆 ❤️

Today’s been all about making the little things ✨

One of those behind-the-scenes making days, working on all the tiny details for my gardening witches 🌿

I’ve been busy making lovely little pots filled with flowers, tiny gardening shovels, and for some reason… pumpkins 🎃 (not entirely sure where the pumpkin vibes came from, but I’m rolling with it!)🤣

It’s these little bits and pieces that take the time, but they’re what bring each witch to life and give them their own little story 💚

Hello and a warm welcome 💕

It’s been so lovely seeing lots of new names popping up over the last few days, so I just wanted to say a huge thank you for being here.
If you’re new to my page, my name is Tamsyn. I’m a mum of two girls, and we’ve also recently welcomed two new kittens to our family — so life is always a little busy here! Alongside all of that, this is my full-time job. I gave up my social work career around 10 years ago to follow my creative path full time, and I’ve never looked back! ❤️

Every witch, wizard, fairy, mermaid and magical little character you see here is individually needle felted by me by hand, making each one completely one of a kind.

At the moment I cannot take any custom orders, simply because I’m super busy making new stock for the lovely shops where I rent shelves — especially with half term and the bank holiday coming up. I’ve had a few orders to work through, but once I’m caught up, I’ll be back to creating for the website again.

I do share new makes here on Facebook, but please do keep an eye on my website too, as not everything gets posted here and some pieces go straight onto the website first. You might just spot one that feels meant for you ✨

I’ve got so many new ideas buzzing around in my head at the moment, and I’m really hoping to have some things ready for the website again very soon — hopefully this week, once I’m up to date with current orders.

Thank you so much for the wonderful orders today! Lovely to see some new names. Just finished up a lovely shift today. Heather, Jane and Co was really busy in Looe, which was great — lots of people about on a Sunday.

Of course, knowing me, I get home and I’m straight back on it again! After cooking dinner, I thought I’d have a go at putting together some of the little miniatures I bought at the weekend. Lots of these are going to be for my kitchen witches — little plates of cookies, doughnuts and cakes… all very healthy things 😂

I’ve also ordered myself some Fimo today as I thought I’d have a little go at making my own tiny cakes. Not quite sure how that’s going to work out, but it’ll be fun giving it a try and I can't wait for it to arrive in the post already!✨

Two beautiful new witches have flown onto the website just a moment ago! ✨

Meet the Moonlit Herbal Witch with lots of botanical charm, and moonlit mystery! 🌙🌿

I also popped up to Bude today for a lovely little wander and came home with some gorgeous miniature kitchen bits… which means kitchen witches are on the way! 🧹🍂🍵

I’m already feeling inspired, so keep an eye out for some cosy magical new creations coming soon.

✨ A little sunshine-filled new witch ✨

The inspiration for this one actually started with the broomstick!

I was spending too much time looking at them and thinking about how I could make them a little different, what I could add, and the idea of weaving flowers into the broom came to mind… and from there, this lovely witch came to life 🌸

She’s made using some of our beautiful new wool, with soft blues and lilacs, and of course I couldn’t resist adding plenty of flowers. I seem to have baskets and boxes of them waiting to be used, so it’s about time they started finding their way into my makes!

I’ve even added a tiny little bee, which felt very fitting after the lovely sunshine we had last week 🐝☀️ SOLD THANK YOU

✨ Beneath the Moon ✨

This beautiful new witch is now available on the website 🌙

She’s made using some of our gorgeous newly purchased wool and nepps, blended throughout to give her dress that beautifully organic, natural texture, with hand-painted tones of purples and browns.

I really wanted to tie her in with her little Beneath the Moon book, so I’ve matched the flowers to the cover with the tall purple blooms and the little white flowers at her feet. I’ve had those flowers tucked away for ages, never quite knowing what to do with them, but after painting the centres orange I’m absolutely loving how they’ve come to life! 🤗

She’s completely one of a kind, as always, and ready to find her new home.

Had a lovely relaxing weekend camping at Maker Heights, near Torpoint. Plenty of fresh air, a nice fire pit going, barbecue, family time, a few drinks, and I really enjoyed the little bit of sunshine we had too.☀️
Feeling fully refreshed and ready for work this week!
As usual, I thought I’d have loads of time to make for the website yesterday, but then some orders came through for Tintagel House Gifts and DydhDa in Padstow. Both need stock topping up..

In the meantime, I’ve added a few more witches to the website. That’ll probably be it for this week, but feel free to go and have a little peek if you fancy it 🧙‍♀️😉

Happy Bank Holiday weekend everybody!. Typical weather for the children, isn’t it, when they’re off… 🌧️😆
I’m currently just jabbing away, stocking up for The Wren’s Nest in Westward Ho! and Heather, Jane & Co, so it’s all nicely busy here. I have taken a little bit of time out though—hoping to squeeze in a few walks and some proper kitten time 😍🐾.
