Long Eaton Art Room The meeting place for creative minds. We have a great schedule of activities and workshops right now.

Long Eaton Art Room is a voluntary organization that believes anyone can benefit from the therapeutic qualities of art & craft making. We were established in April 2006 by a group of enthusiastic creative people for the general public to use as a meeting place where they can relax, have fun making things and learn at their own pace. As well as participating in art for pleasure we are proud to say

that we have helped some of our customers to progress onto either further education or become successful self employed artists. We have also built strong ties with a number of community groups, local schools and the local authority, running creative workshops at either the Art Room or at specific community events. Tuesday Evenings - Lino cutting courses and paper cutting / miniature courses
Wednesday mornings - Watercolours for beginners
Wednesday Evenings - Woolly wednesday knitting and crochet
Thursday evenings - Life drawing
Friday evenings - Fizz fridays coming soon

🌟 Food Vendor Wanted – Open Studios Event 🌟

Long Eaton Art Room is looking for a small, friendly food van or trailer to join us for our Open Studios and Art Fair weekend on:

📅 Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 November 2026
⏰ 10am–4pm both days
📍 Long Eaton Art Room, 29–31 Lime Grove, Long Eaton

We usually welcome around 200–300 visitors each day, with artists, makers, local creatives and members of the community coming along to browse the craft fair, visit our open studios and take part in the weekend.

We're looking for a smallish food van or trailer offering something tasty and accessible. We'd particularly welcome a jacket potato stall, but we're open to other suitable food options.

🌱 Ideally, we'd like:

* A good vegan option
* Gluten-free options
* Food that is suitable for a broad range of visitors
* A small van or trailer that is suitable for our site

🔌 On-site facilities:

* Access to power
* Outside tap available, although it isn't immediately next to the trading position
* The van/trailer can be left onsite overnight between Saturday and Sunday

💷 Pitch: FREE

In return, we'd simply ask that you offer a discount to our stallholders/artists where possible.

If you're interested, or know a local food trader who might be a good fit, please get in touch with details of your food offering, van/trailer and availability for the weekend.

A smashing Craft & Fizz Friday last night! We created these fab mosaic tiles with all sorts of different glass nuggets, mosaics and small tiles. They were all so different! 😁

Next C&C are these gorgeous, sewn poppy seed heads. The sessions are for all abilities with instructions and gentle guidance.

From punch needle and children's painting workshops to our regular creative classes and the ever popular Craft & Fizz Friday and Coffee & Craft sessions - with gentle guided instruction and friendly company ☺️
