When I was about six years old a girl laughed at me for wearing pink and red together. That stuck with me as if it was fashion gospel well into adulthood (still taking advice from a six year old!). What colour combinations do you like? We do pendants with swirls in them and you never know, your suggestion might just end up fuelling the design of a new pendant!

It's Wednesday! Half way through the week already and I don't know about you, but today I needed a bit of motivation. Did you know, Mark Twain said, “The secret of getting ahead is getting started.”? Sometimes we are so busy looking at where we want to get to that we forget to look at the steps we need to take to get there. So, today, I am setting my sights on my steps, not the finish line.

To get one of our pieces right, we think about colour, shape and, of course, the wood. It is really the wood that is the star of the show in this piece and we try to combine the colour and shape in such a way that we put the spotlight on the texture of the wood. What captures your eye when you look at a piece of jewelry? Do you look for particular colours or shapes?
