The Student and the College… of class 1960! 💛🧑‍🎓⚡️

How good are these two together! 1960 Gibson ES-330 with a lovely last year 1960 Tweed Princeton 5F2. Both in very clean condition.

You can almost hear the tones that this duo provides through these photos… turn that Princeton up to 10 and let your ears be blessed!

Just can’t get enough of that good ole 60’s Gibson Cherry! 🍒❤️‍🔥

Quite the pairing here, so we had to grab a shot before the ‘67 J-200 departs its older sibling (‘62 ES-355!)

Sometimes we get guitars into the shop and we are genuinely left with our jaws on the floors and well, this was one of those times…

To our understanding and research, there are only 2 red J-200’s that have circulated. One being Bruce Springsteens famous early 60’s double guard and the other example owned by via is a 1958 with factory palm rest.

This 1967 example is finished in ‘cherry’ as marked on the original orange Gibson Label. A slightly lighter red, in comparison to the other two mentioned previously. This Cherry finish is just as we see often on ES models from the time 🍒

Evidently this guitar was a custom order and potentially a one off, or one of a handful at most. We are yet to find any others in this exact colour.

This guitar has not been offered to the open market for over 40 years and it is an extremely rare opportunity to own a very rare piece of Gibsons history.

This one sounds as good as you’d expect and more! That single dog ear P90 really packs a punch 🥊🐕⚡️

We’ve just got this really clean 1962 Gibson ES-330T in. A lot less common than its twin pickup counterpart and offering a very different sound with its single pickup placement.

This example is very clean, all original throughout and comes with its original case.

There’s cool and there’s custom order offset cool…

Clearly, the special order Candy Apple Red with a matching peg head was not enough for the original purchaser in 1966, so they had to go the extra mile with the super rare Gold hardware.

Accompanied by its original case, bridge cover, tremolo arm, string mute and hang tag! It doesn’t get better than this 🍎🎖️🌶️⚱️❤️‍🔥
