Hi all
Here is the advance warning for the Purepop mini auction list is going live Friday 15th May 2026 at 10pm BST (UK time)

12 records are being listed in this 48hr auction, including some one of a kind items.

For these 12 titles please send an email with your maximum bid and I will let the winners know on Monday 18th May

An advance warning email has been sent. If you are not already on the list or haven’t received the advance email please let me know

When you send your email bid please check that I have confirmed your bid by return of email

The list goes out as an email with a PDF attachment, but the body of the email will also have the list without pictures
At 10pm BST on Friday, I will publish the full list with pics, sound clips and minimum bids on the Blog https://purepopsetsale.blogspot.com/
Publishing the full list with sound clips, prices and details on this blog will ensure that everyone has access at the same time as there can be delays in emails being received

The blog will allow for clearer views of the records and will have some further pics

Important: Only communicate/claim via email. I will NOT accept bids via Facebook messenger, What's app etc…This is to ensure I do not miss any bids

We had a great time at the The Book and Record Bar yesterday and we will return there later in the year

Yesterday was the last full Brigadoon in person event until September, HOWEVER...

Now in its 45th year, the Luton Record Fair is pretty unique. Steeped in a tradition of Rock N’ Roll, Blues, Teener and Do-Wop, it has opened up over the years, yet still retains a certain purist but inclusive and friendly shine
