We are excited that are leading their trial music class for babies today. This will mean that there isn’t full access to our children’s books between 10.30 and 11am. Thank you for your understanding. J x

We were thrilled when romance author, , called into our shiny new shop this morning. ❤️
She has signed 6 copies of her newly published, second novel ‘The Roommate Rule’ which is a perfect summer romance.
Thank you Georgia, we hope we can tempt you back to do an event for us for our ‘Summer of Love’ series.

We are so excited to be welcoming Sarah Lipman to our new look bookshop on Sunday.
She will lead a FREE event for children at 4pm in our children's corner, where she will read from her books, talk all things dog and answer any questions that you may have about Sophia. Her books will be available to buy and Sarah is very happy to chat and sign.
Sarah is offering a free book to her favourite dog picture on the day - so get busy painting a pooch and bring it along with you.

Merton Abbey Mills is a GREAT place to walk your dog. From beautiful riverside walks to a plethora of places to eat and drink with outdoor seating. Our lovely indie bookshop is dog friendly; clean fresh water is always available as are treats (but we always ask permission first) We can’t wait to welcome you in.

Did you know that fairies have moved into the bookshop???? We think they’re cousins of the fairies. Two of our favourite young readers discovered the door. They left amazing drawings for the bookshop fairies who loved their letters, and wrote back to them!!!
If you need a fairy 🧚 pen-pal in your life drop into Only Make Believe where magic really does happen.
