I was blessed this weekend with the uninterrupted company of this extraordinary lady Her refreshing views and ability to put a positive spin on nearly everything was inspiring. My love of Insta waned post lockdown. The enormity of home-schooling and staying at home whilst trying to take the perfect selfie was impossible and it got to me. This fun and amazing friendship-driven weekend has reminded me that it’s not what glamorous thing you put out on this platform but how you feel about yourself when you do. So here is my real life selfie and I’m proud of it. Very sweaty and not in the perfect outfit. Dodgy gym kit and battered trainers. But what it does tell one is that I decided to focus on exercise this morning as it makes me feel better. And one day I may get back into the pre-lockdown jeans 😂
