Sol, Helios, Soleil, Sonne, Surya, Shams, Tai You, Son, Solnce.... are just a few of the names used around the world to refer to the SUN ☀️ - the glorious and only (known) star in our solar system. We are inspired, nurtured and humbled by its majesty. This motivated us to create and name one of our favourite designs, “Tai Yang Fancy Yellow” - marrying the Mandarin word for SUN with a descriptive term from the world of diamonds. It comprises 54 carefully curated and dyed pieces of sycamore marquetry, that are masterfully hand-cut and meticulously set.
