More fabulousness from Simone’s trip to h+h americas in Chicago. She had the absolute pleasure of meeting so many wonderful designers, many of whom we stock the fabric of in our shop. Little did they know though, that they were also meeting an icon from a perfect little haberdashery shop in St Albans 🫶

What a gorgeous skirt made by Valerie! We hope this has had lots of outings this summer, it’s stunning and we love the blue and with floral pleats. Such a versatile garment that can be dressed up or more casual. Thank you so much for sharing it with us Valerie, it’s superb!

As you can imagine Simone was in her element seeing all these beautiful quilt designs and quilted products. There was so much variety showing how versatile quilting can be. Sadly we can only show you a small selection of what Simone saw on her Chicago trip earlier this year, but what a selection! There are some incredibly talented people out there!

If you need any help or advice on quilting, do pop into the shop where one of the team will gladly chat you through it.

I mean wow! Jane makes needle felted pictures which she calls clean painting. It’s so lovely to see how many different things can be made with items from our shop. These are absolutely stunning pieces of art and we love them! Thank you for sharing them with us Jane!
