So, I’m currently listening to a book from one of my favourite authors, Stuart MacBride… ‘And The Co**se Wore Tartan’ brings back Roberta Steel, the hilarious former DCI, who has turned up at a posh Scottish wedding to surprise her ever-exasperated wifey Susan. True to form, she manages to embarrass not only herself but poor Susan. A comedy of events ensues: a murder, a huge thunderstorm, flooded roads, phones and power down. Roberta ropes in a couple of off-duty policemen whose experience amounts to sheep rustling at best.
Really enjoying this tale so far, who else can I rely on to make me laugh out loud on my dog walks through the woods 😅🐕
