Amusing anthropomorphic 19thC oil on board imagining three monkeys dressed as Victorian gents examining a giant tortoise! Presumably, the gag concerns Darwin and his ‘The Origin Of Species’ but I’m not sure exactly what the gag is! Very, very sweet and unusual. DM for deets.

This is such good fun. I’ve had similar 19th and early 20th century parlour games before but this 1905 FH Ayres example is just so huge and so mad! It weighs over 8kg and contains some pretty interesting games such as ‘Expert Angler’, ‘Lapelle’, and ‘Dolphin’! It’s got a really great look and would go very well in your games room. DM for deets. 🎳
